Editorial Standards

How On The Beat MD sources, reviews, attributes, and publishes everything on this platform.

Working draft. This document is awaiting legal, privacy, and safeguarding review. It is not yet binding and may change substantially before launch.

On The Beat MD publishes education, not advice. These standards govern every episode, article, brief item, and resource on the platform.

Truthful publication

We do not publish invented episodes, invented guests, invented statistics, invented testimonials, or invented activity.

Anything not yet produced is labelled Coming Soon. A Coming Soon label is a commitment to publish, not a claim that something already exists.

Numbers, dates, and claims about the platform's reach are published only when they can be substantiated.

Sourcing and attribution

Factual claims are attributed to a named, checkable source at the point of the claim.

Guest statements are the guest's own and are presented as such. Guests review nothing before publication except their own release terms.

Where an item summarises reporting by another outlet, that outlet is named.

Separation of reporting and opinion

Reported items and editorial commentary are visually and structurally separated.

Priya's Perspective is a clearly authored opinion block. It is never merged into a reported summary.

Independence and disclosure

Sponsored or paid placement is labelled as such, in the item itself, before the content.

Financial or professional relationships relevant to a topic are disclosed within the item.

No sponsor reviews or approves editorial content prior to publication.

Review before publication

Every item moves through draft, review, approved, and published. Nothing skips review.

Items touching clinical, legal, financial, or safeguarding subject matter receive a second read before approval.
