Who owns what is published here.
Articles, briefs, episodes, transcripts, scripts, frameworks, worksheets, downloadable toolkits, artwork, and the design of this platform are original work owned by On The Beat MD® and Priya D. Vejayan, MD, or used under licence. Copyright exists automatically from the moment each piece is created.
Guests and contributors keep ownership of their own words and materials and grant On The Beat MD the licence needed to publish them. Requests to reuse a guest's material are passed to that guest.
What you may do
- Link to any page on On The Beat MD. Linking is always welcome and never needs permission.
- Quote short excerpts for commentary, teaching, reporting, or research, with clear attribution to On The Beat MD and a link to the original page, as permitted by applicable copyright law.
- Use the resource-library toolkits personally, or inside your own residency programme, department, or class, for non-commercial teaching, with the credit line and version stamp left intact.
What needs written permission

Every article and downloadable resource carries its own version number, original publication date, and last-updated date. Historical publication dates are never overwritten when a piece is revised.
How misuse is handled.
Unauthorised copies are handled first with a direct request to credit or remove, and then, where necessary, through a formal takedown notice to the host platform. Publication dates, version history, and the corrections log on this platform establish a clear record of first publication.
