Community Guidelines
How members of the On The Beat MD community are expected to treat one another.
Working draft. This document is awaiting legal, privacy, and safeguarding review. It is not yet binding and may change substantially before launch.
Medicine should not depend on who you know. That only works if the room is safe.
Expected conduct
Assume the person asking is earlier in their career than you were when you learned the answer.
Disagree with the argument, never the person. No harassment, discrimination, or intimidation.
Do not post patient information. Nothing identifiable, ever, from anyone.
No solicitation
No recruiting, selling, or promotion of paid services without prior written approval.
Mentorship is not a sales channel.
Enforcement
Guidelines are enforced through warning, restriction, suspension, and removal.
Conduct involving a minor is escalated immediately under the Youth Safety Policy and is not handled as an ordinary guideline breach.
